Mandi, June 16
As many as 35 passengers were stranded on the National Highway 505 near Gramphu in tribal district Lahaul Spiti today because of massive landslide in the area.
As per information received from Koksar, an incident of landslide occurred on NH-505, nine km ahead of Garmphu, under Lahaul subdivision at around 6 pm. Six vehicles and three bikes with 35 passenger were stranded. Those stuck included five children.
According to police, a BRO team has moved along with its machinery towards the spot to clear the road for traffic movement. The restoration work is underway in the area. — TNS
