4 tourists hurt in Lahaul accident

Four tourists were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at Killing Sarai on the Manali-Leh highway in Lahaul and Spiti today. Tribune photo

Mandi, June 30

Four tourists were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at Killing Sarai on the Manali-Leh highway in Lahaul and Spiti today.

According to the police, four persons were on board the vehicle when the accident took place. They sustained minor head injuries. The injured were rushed to nearby hospital at the Army camp, Sarchu, from where they had been brought to Keylong hospital.

The injured are Surya Bhan Singh Rathour of Rajasthan, Stanzin of Leh and Amindit Vishwas and Anurag Vishwas, both from Kolkata. A case has been registered.
