Around 40 students and staff members donated blood. All donors were honoured with medals and certificates in recognition of their valuable contribution.
On the occasion, a free dental check-up camp was also organised, where students and staff members availed consultation. Anurag Sharma, president of the Himachal Blood Tiger and president of the Bir Paragliding Association, played an important role in guiding and supporting the event. The NGO founders — Raj Kumar, who has donated blood 105 times, and Rajeev Rana, a 50-time donor — were specially acknowledged for their dedicated service.
The NGO has been honoured with two national awards for its remarkable contributions in promoting blood donation awareness.
A girls’ badminton match was also organised on the occasion. Smriti of BCom first year emerged as winner, while Simran of BA second year remained runner-up.
Theh principal, Pardeep Kumar Kaundal, appreciated the commendable initiative and lauded the collective efforts of the Red Ribbon Club, Red Cross Society and NGO Himachal Blood Tiger for promoting social service and inspiring the youth toward meaningful community engagement.
