444 new Covid cases, six deaths in Himachal

Shimla, November 5

As many as 444 Covid cases were reported in the state today, taking the total tally to 23,809. Besides, six persons succumbed to the virus.

While three persons died in Shimla, two died in Solan and one in Hamirpur. The highest number of 107 cases were reported in Shimla, followed by 81 in Mandi, 64 in Kangra, 44 in Hamirpur, 42 in Kullu, 38 in Solan, 22 in Bilaspur, 20 in Chamba, 17 in Sirmaur, seven in Una and two in Kinnaur.

As many as 44 persons, including 24 women, tested positive for Covid in Hamirpur district. The maximum number of 11 patients, including a five-year-old child, were detected in Morsu village, near Bhota. — TNS
