Shimla, October 14
Six persons, including four children, sustained injuries when the Omni van they were travelling in rolled down into a gorge near Tara Devi on the Shimla - Solan highway around 12 km from here last evening.
The vehicle carrying six persons was on its way to Chandigarh from Shimla when the accident occurred. The injured are driver Ravi Shankar, his brother Shiv Shankar and four children Pratham (15), Aadi (8), Taksha (6) and Rivanjali (10).
The injured were rushed to nearby hospital. A case under sections 279 and 337 of IPC has been registered. Investigations are underway, police sources said.
