A girl (15) was washed away in the Beas near Bajaura on Monday. In another accident, two persons were washed away in the Parbati river as their scooty collided with a jeep and fell off the road near Manikaran.

Two persons were rescued by an IAF chopper while they were stuck in the Beas near Hurla in Bhuntar. They had reportedly gone to collect wood and were stuck on the riverbed as the water level rose. They remained stranded for the whole night.

An uprooted tree damaged three vehicles in the forest colony area of Kullu. All rivers and rivulets were flooded and people were advised to remain cautious. Electricity poles and wires were damaged in many areas and telecommunication services were also affected.
