8 devotees from Punjab injured as tractor overturns in Una

The accident occurs as the driver of the tractor, carrying around 20 people, on its way to Mansa, loses control over the vehicle

Eight devotees from Punjab were injured after the tractor they were travelling in overturned near Pir Nigaha, a religious place in Una district, police said on Sunday.

The accident occurred when the tractor, carrying around 20 people, was on its way to Mansa and the driver lost control over the vehicle, they said.

A police team reached the spot and, with the help of locals, rescued the injured and rushed them to a nearby hospital, police said.

The injured were discharged after treatment, they added.

Police said the exact cause of the accident is being ascertained.
