A stall put up by the Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) at World Book Fair 2026 being held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, has become a big draw. The stall was inaugurated by IIAS Director Prof Himanshu Kumar Chaturvedi.
The stall features an extensive collection of high-quality, research-intensive publications covering history, philosophy, literature, culture, sociology, political science, international studies and contemporary social issues.
It has emerged as a prominent point of attraction for scholars, researchers, teachers, students and serious readers. The stall will remain open for people till January 18.
Following the inauguration, Prof Chaturvedi visited the IIAS stall and appreciated the wide range and scholarly depth of the books and research publications displayed. He remarked that the publications of the IIAS promote rigorous, original and interdisciplinary research across various disciplines of Humanities and Social Sciences and significantly contribute to linking India’s rich intellectual traditions with contemporary national and global academic discourse.
“By participating in the Fair, IIAS aims to reach a wider readership with its academic publications, strengthen research culture and further reinforce India’s long-standing
tradition of knowledge creation, scholarship,
and intellectual dialogue,” he said.
