The third cultural evening of the International Shri Renuka Ji Fair, held in the picturesque district of Sirmaur, was marked by vibrant cultural performances and the presence of notable dignitaries.

Nahan MLA Ajay Solanki was the chief guest at the event, and extended his warm wishes to the local community and visitors.

Upon his arrival to the annual fair, Solanki was formally welcomed and honoured by Sirmaur Additional Deputy Commissioner LR Verma. In his address, Solanki expressed appreciation for the unique cultural significance of the fair, and emphasised its role in preserving and promoting local traditions and heritage.

The cultural evening showcased an array of performances, attracting an enthusiastic audience.

Folk dance groups from Shimla and artistes from the North Zone Cultural Centre graced the stage, alongside talented performers from Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand, bringing a diverse blend of art and culture to the celebration. Local artistes, too, presented captivating performances, with the evening featuring captivating performances by Madan Jhalta, Raghubir Thakur and Amit Sharma.

The fair, which attracts visitors from across the state and beyond, is celebrated annually near the historic Renuka Ji Lake. It serves as an important cultural platform, bringing together communities and showcasing the traditional arts of the region.
