Rakshita Thakur, a Class VI student from Auckland House School, has been selected to represent the state at the National Karate Championship.

She qualified for the tournament after she won a gold medal at the state-level event held recently at Baijnath. The championship was organised by the Karate Association of Himachal Pradesh and witnessed participation from around 300 players, representing all 12 districts of the state.

During the championship, she displayed exceptional skill, confidence, and determination and delivered an impressive performance throughout the tournament.
