Education Minister Rohit Thakur held a video conference with representatives of the Primary Teachers Federation to discuss the implementation of the PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan-2024 in government schools. The survey, which would take place on December 4, aims to assess the performance of students in key subjects.

Rohit emphasised the results of the PARAKH Sarvekshan will reflect the overall performance of the state’s education system, underscoring the need for all stakeholders to work collectively to ensure students were well-prepared.

The minister also highlighted the extensive steps taken by the state government to improve its national ranking. He said mock tests had been conducted in around 15,000 schools to assess and improve students’ readiness in language, mathematics and science for classes III, VI and IX.
