BJP celebrates Bihar poll victory

Led by district president Sachin Sharma, party workers distributed sweets and raised slogans in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party. They also distributed ‘laddoos’ on the main square at Depot Bazaar of the city.
Sachin Sharma said the mandate in Bihar reflected the people’s trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the policies of the BJP-led NDA government. He described the result as a “victory of democracy” and extended congratulations to the people of Bihar, BJP leadership and NDA alliance.
BJP spokesman Vishawa Chakshu claimed that voters had “completely rejected false and irresponsible guarantees” and reaffirmed their faith in the “double-engine government” under PM Modi and BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda. He added that the verdict was a clear endorsement of the Modi government’s development policies and good governance.
