The BJP on Tuesday held detailed discussions and formulated strategies for the upcoming elections in four MC, namely Mandi, Solan, Palampur, and Dharamsala. The party leadership focused on local issues, organisational strength and effective outreach to ensure victory for its candidates. The meeting was held under the leadership of BJP state president Rajeev Bindal.
Bindal said the elections in all four municipal corporations would be contested on party symbol and the BJP would enter the electoral fray with full strength. He added that a series of meetings with senior leadership, including state in-charge Shrikant Sharma, co-incharge Sanjay Tandon and Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, will be held to finalise the strategy. “The BJP will go among the people and expose the anti-people policies of the Congress government,” Bindal said.
