BJP Legal Cell must be proactive on policy: Himachal unit chief Bindal
Bindal outlined the party’s upcoming organisational responsibilities and strategic priorities
State BJP president Rajeev Bindal was accorded a rousing reception by the Palampur district unit of the party during his visit here today.
Addressing a state-level introductory meeting of the BJP’s Legal and Legislative Cell, Bindal called upon advocates associated with the party to remain alert and proactive in safeguarding constitutional values. “Advocates must ensure that no one is allowed to tamper with the Constitution. It is their responsibility to stand firm in defence of democratic principles and the rule of law,” he asserted.
After interacting individually with members of the legal fraternity, Bindal outlined the party’s upcoming organisational responsibilities and strategic priorities.
He emphasised that lawyers associated with the BJP should work in the spirit of the party’s ideological foundation, inspired by the vision of Deendayal Upadhyaya. The BJP president underscored the growing importance of the legal cell in addressing public issues, policy matters and constitutional concerns.
