Shimla, July 17

Har Ghar Tiranga, a nationwide campaign, will be launched to encourage people to hoist the national flag at their homes to mark the 75th Independence Day on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah while virtually addressing Governors and Chief Ministers of states and UTs from New Delhi today.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said the flag was a symbol of national pride and people should pay their respect to the flag.

Thakur said Himachal Pradesh would make all-out efforts to ensure that every house, government, private, industrial and educational buildings hoist the Tricolour from August 13 to 15 to celebrate the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
