Water level suddenly rose following heavy showers

Solan, July 17

A car was swept into a rivulet at Kunjahal village in Barotiwala area of Solan district on Sunday morning when the water level suddenly rose following heavy showers.

However, all five passengers travelling in the car, including a woman and a child, were rescued by the villagers.

The car was passing through the stream but was suddenly swept into the gushing water with sudden rise in the water level. The car was swept several metres into the rivulet.
