CBSE results for classes X & XII: Himachal schools celebrate 100% success in board exams
Jigmed Dolma secured the first position in Class XII (Arts stream) at Loreto Convent School, Tara Hall, Shimla, with an impressive 97.2%. The school celebrated a 100% pass rate, with all 91 students clearing the examination. In Class X, Meghna Kuthiala emerged as the topper, also scoring 97.2%.
At DAV Lakkar Bazaar, Shimla, all 163 students who appeared for the Class XII exam passed. Shreyan Kaundal topped the school in the non-medical stream with 96.8%, while Agrim Sharma led in Class X with 94.4%.
DAV New Shimla also posted a 100% result, with all 219 students clearing Class XII. Anvita Sharma topped the school in the humanities stream with a stellar 98%.
Students of Dayanand Public School, Shimla, too, maintained the perfect record. Anushta Sharma was the school topper in Class XII, securing 97.8% in the Arts stream.
Overall, city schools have once again demonstrated academic excellence with remarkable performances in the CBSE board examinations.
Solan students shine
Solan: Schools affiliated with the CBSE celebrated outstanding results in the Class X and XII board exams, achieving 100% pass rates.
At Doon Valley Public School, Nalagarh, Aniket Singh topped the Commerce stream with 96.2%. In Humanities, Dharvi secured second position with 95.6%, while Harshita and Komal Sharma shared third place in the Medical stream with 95.2% each. Ten students scored above 90%, including Devansh Modgil, Abhishek Saini, Harman, Jaskirat Kaur, Karan Chandel, Srishti Gupta, Manisha Chaudhary, Akshita Kaushal, Kiran Chaudhary, and Vanshika Sharma. Additionally, 21 students scored above 80% and 39 achieved more than 70%, highlighting the school’s academic strength and effective mentoring.
Army Public School, Dagshai, also reported a 100% result. In Class XII Science, Manmeet Singh, Jyoti, and Jigmet Yahgchan Lamo all secured 94.4%, claiming the top three ranks. In Humanities, Divya led with 96.4%, followed by K Rosemi Devi and Mehak with 95.2% each. Commerce stream topper Stanzin Khando achieved 96.2%, while Diskit Chosdon followed with 95.6%.
Class X students at both schools also delivered excellent performances, with several scoring above 90%. The results reflect the hard work and consistency of students, the dedication of teachers, and strong support from school management.

Dalhousie school students shine in Class XII exams with 100% results
Chamba: Dalhousie Public School (DPS) achieved a remarkable 100% pass percentage in the Class XII CBSE examinations. Out of the total 88 students, who appeared for the examinations, passed with flying colours with a significant number delivered exceptional performances, underscoring the school’s excellent record.
This year’s results are especially commendable, with 16 students scoring above 90%, 53 students securing distinction and 83 students attaining first division. Among the highlights of the academic achievements, eight students scored a perfect 100 in painting, two students achieved a perfect score in psychology and one student scored 100 in informatics practices, said DPS chairman and director Dr (Capt) GS Dhillon.
The top-performing student, Kanishk from the non-medical stream, secured an impressive 97.4%. Close behind were Doli (non-medical) and Samairah (humanities), each scoring 96.6%, followed by Vidhi from the medical stream with 96.4%. Other noteworthy achievers included Gunn Sandal with 95%, Rochisnu with 94.8%, and both Purva and Pranvi from the Humanities stream, each scoring 94%.
These stellar results reflect the relentless efforts of the students, the unwavering support of parents and the guidance and dedication of the school’s faculty. The school attributes this success to its well-rounded educational approach that emphasises academic rigor, personal mentoring, and character-building, he said.
