Chhavi Sharma to represent Himachal at national children science exhibition

Chhavi Sharma, a student of Government Senior Secondary School, Tal, will represent Himachal Pradesh at the national children science exhibition for schoolchildren at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Earlier, Chhavi secured the first position at the state level event in Solan. Chhavi was accorded a rousing welcome at the school on her arrival here today. Her model based on health and hygiene was adjudged the best.

Principal Atul Sharma said, “It is a matter of pride that our student has brought laurels to the district, school, teachers and her parents across the state by securing the first position in the 'Health and Hygiene' model category at the state-level children's science exhibition for school children.”

Atul added that Chhavi would represent Himachal Pradesh at the upcoming national level competition at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Sanjeevan Patial, president, school management committee (SMC), said that she not only brought honour to her school and parents but also to the entire local community.

Chhavi said she wanted to express her gratitude to school, teachers and parents, who provided her timely guidance and support that enabled her to achieve this success.
