Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur arrived here today for the winter session. He was welcomed by Minister for Health Vipin Parmar and the local MLA Vishal Nehria and his supporters at police grounds.

The CM will chair a meeting of the legislative group at Mini Secretariat of Dharamsala. Since the government is expecting Congress attack over the investors’ meet held at Dharamsala, the legislators have been assigned the task of defending the government, sources here said.

The government would try to project the meet a major success by listing investments that were expected to come.

The MLAs would highlight the achievements of the government to blunt the Congress attack, the sources here said.
