Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said here today that the Congress was trying to create a false narrative to mislead people. He was addressing a Tridev Sammelan of the Shimla parliamentary constituency that was attended by 6,100 party functionaries.

“The BJP will again form government in Himachal, as it had done in four other states recently. Himachal is a small state but our party organisational structure is the best and our field-level activists are our biggest strength,” he said.

The BJP set a new narrative “Na Raaz Na Taaz bus Rivaaz” as the Chief Minster said the party would create history by again forming government by winning the Assembly elections. He, however, admitted, “Some works may be still incomplete but our party functionaries should focus on the Assembly elections on the basis of developmental works carried out by the state and Central governments”.

While Hamirpur recorded the highest 97 per cent attendance, Kangra saw 94 per cent, Shimla 93 per cent and Mandi 90 per cent attendance.
