With March 5 set as the last date for filing nominations to the lone Rajya Sabha seat from Himachal Pradesh, the Congress has intensified internal consultations to finalise its candidate. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu met senior party leaders in New Delhi on Monday as part of the exercise, signalling that the decision will be taken at the highest level.
