Shimla, July 26
As many as 986 Covid cases were reported in the state today, taking the tally to 295,674. Besides, one person died of the virus in Kangra district. The number of active cases rose to 4,541.
The highest number of 265 cases was reported in Kangra, followed by 177 in Mandi, 132 in Shimla, 78 in Hamirpur, 67 in Bilaspur, 57 in Kullu, 65 in Chamba, 53 in Sirmaur, 36 in Solan, 35 in Una, 12 in Kinnaur and nine in Lahaul and Spiti. — TNS
