DA notification issued

Consequent upon the announcement made by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur to release three per cent additional DA to employees from July 1, 2017, the finance department today issued a notification in this regard.

The three per cent additional DA would be paid in cash along with salary for the month of January while the arrears from July to December 2017 would be credited to the General Provident Fund (GPF).

The payment of the ADA would cost the state exchequer Rs 180 crore annually and the employees would benefit from Rs 300 to Rs 2,500 per month. The pensioners would also get enhanced DA from July to December in cash.
