Daytime ban on mining vehicles in Paonta Sahib

The district administration has imposed a complete ban on the daytime movement of heavy vehicles laden with mining material in Paonta Sahib, bringing major relief to residents grappling with traffic congestion and road safety concerns. Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Verma has issued strict orders in public interest, restricting the movement of these vehicles to strictly between 10 pm and 5 am.

According to the notification, mining vehicles will be completely prohibited during daytime on key stretches, including Bangaran Chowk to Haripur Tohana, Puruwala, Manpur Devra and Gozer Adayan routes; Vishwakarma Chowk to Devinagar, Kunja Matralion and Rampur Ghat roads; and from the Bata Bridge Chowk to Vishwakarma Chowk.
