DC Anupam Kashyap today approved route chart for 29 gas agencies operating across the district and said it was mandatory to follow the chart for the supply of gas cylinders.

District Controller, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Shimla, Narender Kumar Dhiman, while sharing the information, said if cylinders were not supplied on the scheduled date due to some reasons, these were supplied the next day and this information was shared with customers in advance.

He asserted that the chart would benefit people, especially those in rural and remote areas, of the district. He further said that all agencies would be required to equip gas cylinder delivery vehicles with loudspeakers, weighing machines, a gas leak detection device and a copy of the route chart and prescribed fees.
