A high-level delegation comprising senior faculty members from the Directorate of Higher Education, Goa, Goa University and the Indian School of Business (ISB), Mohali, visited Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Shimla, and learnt about the key aspects of institutional leadership, academic administration and innovation-based initiatives in higher education.

The visit was conduced by the Bharti Institute of Public Policy, Indian School of Business (ISB), Mohali. The Goa delegation gained comparative insights for the development of higher education in its state.

The delegation interacted with all members of the college. Principal of Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya Anurita Saxena presented a detailed PowerPoint presentation on the academic, social, cultural and other ongoing activities in the college as well as their outcomes.

Arushi Jain, Policy Director, ISB, reiterated the commitment of her institution towards building leadership capacity in higher education. Niyan Marchon, Programme Director, Goa’s Directorate of Higher Education, also shared his views on institutional leadership, academic development and the importance of inter-state collaboration in education in Goa.

“This visit marks a significant step towards promoting cooperation and knowledge exchange in the field of higher education,” said Anurita Saxena.
