Kullu, June 19

Kullu Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg today said Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports had made Atal Tunnel, Rohtang, as one of the 75 iconic places in the country to celebrate International Yoga Day. He said Union Minister of State for Youth Services and Sports Nisith Pramanik would be the chief guest on the 8th International Yoga Day to be celebrated at the north portal of the Atal Tunnel. He said Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur and Tribal Development Minister Ram Lal Markanda would be the special guests on the occasion.

The Deputy Commissioner said the UN has fixed ‘Yoga for Humanity’ as the theme of International Yoga Day 2022. He said around 500 people would take part in yoga in a systematic manner under the supervision of instructors.
