UNA, SEPTEMBER 11
Former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today hailed the performance of the Jai Ram government on all fronts.
Speaking to mediapersons here, he said the government had organised investor meets to attract investment, which would boost employment opportunities.
Dhumal said the state was secure in the hands of the BJP government. The Union government was also extending support to the state government, adding that it needed to move ahead with a new resolve.
Taking on the Opposition, Dhumal said the state Congress leadership had no issues against the BJP and that it was just trying to create a ruckus within and outside the Assembly. The Congress’ only slogan was ‘Himachal on Sale’, which remained unchanged. He said opposing all decisions of the government, just for the sake of criticism, was not the work of a responsible Opposition.
Later, Dhumal went to Haroli village to meet and console the bereaved family members of former Santoshgarh MLA Jai Kishan Sharma, who died yesterday.
