Dr Bharti joins as Chamba medical college principal

Dr Ramesh Bharti has joined as the principal of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College and Hospital here last week.

Earlier, Dr Bharti was the Head of Department of Surgery at Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College and Hospital, Tanda (Kangra).

Dr Bharti has also served as principal of Tanda Medical College from January 2017 to April 2018.

Speaking to this reporter here today, Dr Bharti said that he had specialised in cancer surgery. For this, he received a fellowship from the World Health Organisation (WHO).
