DYFI protests privatisation of PSUs

The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), a student wing of the CPI, organised a rally to protest the privatisation of public sector undertakings (PSUs) here today.
The Centre had proceeded with the disinvestment of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), the Railways and other PSUs. DYFI members marched through the market to raise voice against their privatisation.
Anil Mankotia, state secretary of the youth wing of the CPM, said, “It will affect our future and economy of the country as well.”
He said the government should not privatise PSUs otherwise every section of society would take to streets against the policies of the NDA government.
