There is a need to introduce new courses in all the educational institutions in accordance to the digital era. This was stated by Education Minister Rohit Thakur during his address during a one-day programme held at APG Shimla University.
Addressing students and faculty members, the minister said that the state government was taking effective steps to bring changes in the Education Department. “We must transform ourselves according to the digital age. This is the need of the hour, so the department can implement such changes in the future to make itself competitive,” he said.
He said the young generation was the backbone of the country, and educational institutions played a crucial role in shaping their future. “Private sector stakeholders are making unprecedented contributions to the education sector.
