Transport Minister Bikram Singh has expressed dissatisfaction over the repair and maintenance of the electric buses at the Dhalli workshop in Shimla. During his visit to the workshop today, the minister found that the facilities were inadequate, especially the charging points.
“The minister has asked us to build more infrastructure,” said HRTC regional manager Deva Sen Negi. “We know that the existing infrastructure is not enough, and we are in the middle of enhancing it. We have apprised the minister about it, and he has asked us to speed up the work,” he said.
Negi said the minister had asked for a detailed report regarding the plans of the HRTC to upgrade the mechanism. — TNS
