Chamba, November 25

The Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) has flayed the state government for its alleged failure to check the surge in Covid cases.

In a press release issued here today, HPCC chief spokesperson Kuldeep Singh Pathania alleged that, "The re-imposition of night curfew in four districts has proved that corona control programme sponsored by the government is in an uncontrolled situation."

Pathania alleged that the BJP government was sparing no moment even amid the pandemic to gain popularity by inaugurating and laying the stones of projects already approved and funded during the Congress tenure.

He alleged that by gathering crowds in these programmes, the BJP government was contributing towards the spread of the virus in the state.
