The state spokesperson of BJP, Sanjay Sharma, has alleged that within 14 months of the rule of the present government, the employees of the state were going through the worst phase.

“The government formed in the name of system change has thrown the lives of the employees into a disarray. Neither the employees are getting their pending DA nor the government is paying their arrears. Every day employees have to take to the streets with their demands,” Sharma said. The Congress had promised to provide one lakh jobs in the first cabinet, but the government is not even declaring the results of the Selection Commission, he said.

The BJP spokespersons added that the government is also ignoring the Supreme Court order to declare the results of the recruitment test of state selection commission. “State Municipal Corporation employees have to go on strike every day for their demands. But the government is ignoring their demands for salary increase.

The students are suffering the consequences of their strike,” he alleged.

There does not seem to be any support from the government regarding the demands of the Zila Parishad cadre employees and those employees are also adopted the path of strike for their demands, the BJP spokesperson said.

He said that every day employees of some department or the other are taking to the streets with their demands against the government and this is hampering the development of the state. Electricity Board employees were forced to go on strike for not receiving their salaries on time. The employees of the Electricity Board have been kept out of the scope of OPS and there is deep anger among the employees regarding this matter, Sanjay Sharma said.

He said 300 posts of senior secondary school principals are vacant in the education department but the government is not paying attention to them

The employees of the Tourism Corporation are not getting their salaries on time due to which they are also facing difficulty in running their families, the state spokesperson of BJP said.

The government is adopting an anti-employee attitude in the state, he said.
