Governor Acharya Devvrat
Shimla, January 22
Governor Acharya Devvrat today visited Indian Naval Ship Kulish during his tour to Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The Governor was received onboard by Captain R Vinod Kumar, officiating Naval Component Commander, Andaman and Nicobar Command, and Captain Prajit Menon, Chief Staff Officer to the Naval Component Commander.
The Governor was briefed by Commander Deepak Bali, Commanding Officer, INS Kulish about the role and capabilities of the ship. He was taken around the operations room of the ship wherein a combat drill for anti-surface and anti-air engagement, was demonstrated to him.— TNS
