Health sub-centre opened at Nagrota Surian
A health sub-centre, built at a cost of Rs 35 lakh in Khabbal Panchayat of Nagrota Surian in Kangra district, was inaugurated by state Agriculture Minister Chander Kumar.
On this occasion, he said, “The government is striving to provide better health facilities to the people at their doorstep and this health sub-centre has been inaugurated to provide better health services to the locals. In addition, Rs 10 crore has been spent to upgrade work of the Primary Health Centre of Nagrota Surian.” He said the state government was building one ideal hospital in every Assembly constituency with six specialist doctors available. As per him, all specialists had been deployed at Civil Hospital, Jawali.
Kumar said Rs 37 crore would be spent on the sewage project in the Nagrota Surian region.
