The Himachal Pradesh High court today deferred the hearing on a bail petition filed by former Superintendent of Police DW Negi for March 11.
Negi was arrested in the custodial death of an accused in a rape and murder of a 16-year-old girl case.
The Central Bureau of Investigation arrested Negi on November 16, 2017. Negi contended in his bail petition that the investigation was complete in this case and nothing was to be recovered from him.
After hearing the matter for some time, Justice Sandeep Sharma listed the matter for further hearing on March 11.
