Himachal girl felicitated with Rashtriya Prerna Doot Award
Himachal’s Diksha Vashisht has been felicitated with the prestigious Rashtriya Prerna Doot Award for her contributions towards social work in the state. She was presented the award in Patna by Face of Future India as part of the National Youth Exchange Programme under Bharat Ki Yuva Shakti – Utsav 2024-25.
Diksha has actively participated in blood donation drives, mental health initiatives and work-related to disabilities. A gold medallist in MA (Psychology) from Himachal Pradesh University, she has represented the state on various national and international platforms.
She also played a significant role in the state government’s police and CID’s awareness campaigns against substance abuse, winning a first prize of Rs 1.5 lakh. This award was presented to her by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in Shimla last year.
