Himachal Government has decided to ease curfew restrictions from 6 am to 8 pm every day, officials said---a development that comes as governments across the country look at easing lockdown restrictions first imposed on March 25 to slow the spread of coronavirus.

All government offices in Himachal to open with 100 per cent staff from June 1, officials said. The timing and departure of employees will be staggered.

However, this will not apply to containment zones.

Also, movement from one district to another within the state will not require a curfew pass, officials said. Public transport will also be resumed from June 1.
