Himachal Pradesh University invites applications for short-term courses till Feb 28
As per the official notification issued by the university, admission in the courses will be strictly held on merit basis
Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) has invited applications from interested candidates for admission in various short-term skill development and add-on courses till February 28, 2026.
An official notification regarding this has been issued by the university. As per the notification, admission in the courses offered will be strictly held on merit basis. The courses include Beekeeping, Mushroom Farming, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, Microbiology, Indian Knowledge System and Population Studies.
Besides these, the university is also offering short term courses in international languages such as Russian and German along with courses such as Indian Policy and Governance, Bhoti Language, Rethinking Development: Issues and Challenges, Social Work, Environment Economics, Understanding Human Rights and Vedic Mathematics.
Prof. BK Shivram, Dean of Studies (DS), HPU stated that admission forms were available on the official website of the university viz. www.nadmissions.hpushimla.in and interested candidates can download these forms.
He said, “General category students will have to pay a sum of Rs 500/- as application fees while candidates belonging to Reserve Categories such as Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Antodaya, Institute of Rural Development Programme (IRDP) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) will have to pay a sum of Rs 250/- as application fees.”
