A massive influx of tourists from neighbouring states including Punjab, Haryana and Delhi was witnessed in Manali and the Lahaul valley on the occasion of Holi, prompting authorities to intensify surveillance and enforcement measures. Police issued over 500 traffic challans, primarily against two-wheeler riders, for multiple violations under the jurisdiction of the Manali subdivision in Kullu district.
