The board has implemented a seven-tier monitoring system, including CCTV camera surveillance at all centres and online monitoring from its headquarters in Dharamsala. Flying squads constituted by the board and the Education Department are conducting surprise inspections to maintain the sanctity of the examinations.

Board Chairman Dr Rajesh Sharma has laid down fresh guidelines for the flying squads, making it clear that maintaining fairness in the examination process is their top priority. “Fairness in examinations is our highest priority and flying squads have the direct responsibility in ensuring it,” he added. He directed all flying squads to perform their duties with complete transparency and strictly within the rules so that the credibility of the state’s examination system remains intact.

Sharma said that checks must not create unnecessary mental pressure on students. “The objective of inspections is not to create an atmosphere of fear at the examination centres but to ensure a peaceful and disciplined environment,” he added.

He issued orders that inspections should be conducted in a manner that did not disturb students’ concentration or affect their time management. “It must be ensured that no student feels anxious due to the presence of a flying squad and is able to showcase his abilities without fear,” he added.

The board has set a target of declaring the examination results by April 30. The board officials have urged students to adhere to the guidelines and maintain discipline throughout the examination period.
