NURPUR, FEBRUArY 10
The Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Services Federation has urged Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur to release the revised pay scales as per recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission from January 2016 on the pattern of the Centre.
Vinod Kumar, state coordinator of the federation, in a statement here today said Himachal had its own policies, programmes and principles and it should not depend on the neighbouring states like Punjab for the implementation of policy decisions relating to its employees.
The federation coordinator said government employees would not accept the Punjab pattern as it would cause an unprecedented delay.
The delay would cause loss to employees. He said most states like Uttarakhand, Haryana, J&K, Delhi and Rajasthan were following the Central Government for the implementation of the pay commission recommendations. — OC
