HPU B-School students trained in AI-enabled data analysis tools

Students, research scholars as well as faculty members of Himachal Pradesh University Business School were trained in contemporary research techniques and AI-enabled data analysis tools during a week-long workshop on “Research Methodology and Data Analysis in Management” organised under the MERU, PM-USHA Scheme, which concluded here today.

The participants engaged in hands-on sessions on research design, hypothesis testing, AI-based data analysis, qualitative and quantitative methods and the use of modern software tools. They expressed gratitude to HPU Business School for providing a stimulating academic environment and enhancing their research capabilities.

Joginder Singh Dhiman, Dean, Planning and Teachers Matters, was the chief guest of the valedictory session. He appreciated the initiative of the HPU Business School to strengthen research competence among young scholars and emphasised the need for scientific temper, methodological clarity and ethical research practices in modern academic work.

Pramod Sharma, Director, HPU Business School, and Dinesh Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management and Director, UCBS, presided over the session. They highlighted the importance of data-driven decision-making and encouraged the participants to integrate research skills with managerial insight. Vinod Negi coordinated the workshop organised under the leadership of organising secretary Puneet Bhushan.
