HPU practical exams for UG courses from March 1

Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) is set to conduct the annual practical examinations of various undergraduate courses under the annual system from March 1 to 20.

A notification regarding this was issued by the university here today. As per the notification, practical examinations of Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B Sc) and Bachelor of Commerce (B Com), first, second and third year, will be held as per the past practice by deputing senior eligible college teachers.

The university has directed all the principals of colleges affiliated to it to prepare the groups of students and conduct practical examinations accordingly.

Principals have also been directed to depute examiners and confirm the schedule to the Assistant Registrar (evaluation) before the commencement of the examinations.

Providing the information, Dr Shyam Lal Kaushal, Controller of Examinations (COE), HPU, said colleges have been instructed to upload the awards of practical examinations on the same day and examiners should hand over the awards in a duly sealed cover to the Principal along with attendance sheets.

“All the Principals have also been directed to upload the internal assessment (IA) one week before the commencement of theory examinations to avoid any inconvenience to download admit card by students on time,” he said.
