Taking steps to boost its revenue, the Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla, has decided to collect Rs 500 as University Development Fund from students at the time of their admission. However, students belonging to BPL or IRDP families are required to pay an amount of Rs 250 instead of Rs 500.

However, with the issuance of new notification, the old notification has now been cancelled.
