The Director said that the initiative would be particularly beneficial for youths residing in and around Una. He added that it would create new pathways for college-going students to acquire cutting-edge technical skills, secure better employment opportunities and contribute to the national vision of ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’.

Gaur said that the institute’s faculty coordinator, Dr Gurpreet Kaur, played a significant role in securing and shaping the programme. Her dedicated groundwork and coordination ensured the programme was sanctioned and she would also oversee its implementation, curriculum delivery and compliance with the scheme’s guidelines.
