IIT- Mandi launches 6 PG courses

The IIT Mandi, has launched six postgraduate programmes in the past one year, between August 2017 and August 2018. The programmes include, MSc in physics, MTech in power electronics and drives (PED), MTech in structural engineering, MTech in very-large-scale integration (VLSI), MTech in communications and signal processing (CSP) and MA in development studies.

Director Timothy A Gonsalves said these programmes were introduced as part of IIT-Mandi’s vision to be a leader in science and technology education, knowledge creation and innovation. With the introduction of these new programmes, IIT- Mandi is one step closer towards achieving its target of 60 per cent postgraduate students in its student strength in the coming years. — TNS
