Indian Army invites applications for Agniveer recruitment in Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur districts

The Indian Army has invited applications from interested candidates till April 1 for recruitment under the Agniveer Scheme in Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur districts.

Col Manish Singh, Director Recruiting, Army Recruitment Office, Shimla, said that registration for the recruitment process for the three districts was started on February 13 and it was mandatory for all eligible candidates to register on the website of the Indian Army www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

He said that the eligibility and other conditions for the candidates to participate in the recruitment process were available on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. “Candidates can get themselves registered for two eligible categories. For the convenience of the candidates, video links are available in the website that the candidates can watch to understand the changed process and how to register and appear for the online examination,” he added.

Col Manish said, “The online examination for Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Clerk/Storekeeper Technical, Agniveer Tradesman, Agniveer Technical and Agniveer Women Military Police will be conducted at various centres and information regarding which will be available to the candidates on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.”

He urged all candidates willing to take part in the Army recruitment rally to check the eligibility and other conditions for recruitment on the Join Indian Army website before registering themselves.
