Indian Army to conduct Agniveer recruitment in Himachal districts; invites applications till April 1
The applications have started from February 13 for Shimla, Solan and Sirmour districts, says Col. Manish Singh
The Indian Army is set to conduct recruitment under the Agniveer Scheme in Shimla, Solan and Sirmour districts for which it has invited applications from interested candidates till April 1.
Providing the information, Col. Manish Singh, Director Recruiting, Army Recruitment Office, Shimla, said that the registration for the recruitment process has been stated from February 13 for the three districts and it is mandatory for all eligible candidates to register on the website of the Indian Army www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
He said eligibility and conditions for the candidate to participate in the recruitment process are available on the website.
“Candidates can get themselves registered for two eligible categories. For the convenience of the candidates, video links are available on the website which the candidates can watch to understand the changed process of how to register and appear for the online examination. Online examination for Agniveer general duty, Agniveer clerk/storekeeper technical, Agniveer tradesman, Agniveer technical and Agniveer women military police will be conducted at various centres information of which will be available to the candidates on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.”
He has also urged all the candidates, willing to take part in Army recruitment to check the eligibility and other conditions for recruitment on the ‘Join Indian Army’ website before getting themselves registered.
